One of our favorite recording moments during our trip to Nashville.

"Forget" is a bluesy pop-rock ballad à la John Mayer or Ray Lamontagne. The lyrics came to me in a late-night flow of consciousness and I wrote them down only to forget about them. Then, one particularly inspired night, I came up with the first two chords and a melody for the first line. The song pretty much wrote itself after that.

The video for "Forget" was shot in Toronto, Canada by Trevor Tse Studios

Episode 4
We paired Old Zin Vines' 2014 Lodi Old Vine Zinfandel with an equally supple song, "Don't Know Why" by Norah Jones. We also paired its unexpected mocha and milk chocolate hints with an original "Where Do We Go".
Episode 3
We paired Green & Red's 2013 Zinfandel. We thought this wine would go well with an earthy song like Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi". We also paired its smooth tannin with a softer original ballad, "Wonder". The latter was featured on the soundtrack of indie movie "Three Days In August" by director Jonathan Brownlee (Decoding Annie Parker).
Episode 2
We paired Cakebread's Sauvignon Blanc with a song that ages equally well: "Over The Rainbow". We also thought it would go well with  a light jazzy pop song like "Risking More" from Sherry's EP "Change Me As We Go"
Episode 1
We paired this 2013 Zinfandel from Frank Family with an uptempo jazz classic: "Fly Me To The Moon". The wine's balanced acidity inspired us to also pair it with one of our originals "Hypothetically". Lyrics in the video description :)

This was our entry for the NPR Tiny Desk contest. First we decided to make a tiny desk out of metal and a small walnut slab. Then we rallied all the pint-size stationery and other desk accessories lying around the house to set up our desk. In the spirit of "lo-fi" we decided to film the video with our phones in a single take. We then did a few extra takes for the close-ups. Hope you enjoy the video! It involves sawing, cutting, welding, sanding, polishing, painting, assembling, possible some awkward smiles, and of course, music :)

The song "Wonder" was written by George and was featured in the soundtrack of an independent film "Three Days In August", by Jonathan Brownlee. We attended the premiere screening at La Costa Film Festival in Oct 2016.
